Most Indian proteins use synthetic sweeteners (E955) to mask whey bitterness. TWT utilizes natural and nature based sweeteners for their range of products.
Chlorinated sugar molecule (E955). 600x sweeter than sugar.
Extract of Siraitia grosvenorii (Monk Fruit). Contains Mogroside V antioxidants.
We benchmarked TWT against market leaders in protein percentage, additive count and taste scores.
Standard whey uses Xanthan Gum (E415) or Soy Lecithin (E322) to create thickness. TWT use Whole Milk Powder (4% - 9%). This is a different formulation choice that alters the gut response.
Hydrocolloids like Xanthan Gum are fermentable fibers that can cause bloating in IBS-prone (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) individuals. Replacing them with milk powder provides a natural mouthfeel without the texture of gums.
Whole Milk Powder introduces saturated fats and lactose. While the amount is low (~4-9%), strict lactose-intolerant users or those on their cutting phase lose the precision of a pure Isolate.
Most brands use Nature Identical Flavoring(upto 0.1g per scoop). TWT uses Freeze Dried Fruit/Nuts (14% - 15%). While nutritionally superior, this displaces protein mass.
Freeze-drying preserves ~90% of the fruit's micronutrients. This means you get to consume fiber and antioxidants instead of chemical esters that smell like and mimic fruit.
The Dates and Fruit powders add 3-5g of natural sugar per scoop. While natural, it breaks the "Zero Carb" promise that could be a negative for people cutting weight and looking for a low calorite protein supplement.
Every TWT label lists Bromelain (Pineapple Enzyme). This is a proteolytic enzyme.
Most manufacturers use a static "Master Blend" (e.g., always 80/20) and simply swap flavor packets.
The labels reveal TWT uses Adaptive Formulation. We noticed that they alter the Isolate-to-Concentrate ratio based on the flavor profile. There is no fixed formula.
Why this matters?
It means each flavor is different and you can expect them to provide different taste profiles, digesibility and protein ratios.
Almost pure Isolate. Thin texture. Maximum absorption speed.
Balanced blend. Concentrate added to support fruit powder suspension.
High Concentrate volume mimics latte-style milkiness without added fats.
Found in the Kesar Pista flavor. Curcumin is the active anti-inflammatory compound in Turmeric. Paired with Bromelain, this acts as a mild post-workout recovery agent.
Unlike "Saffron Flavoring", TWT labels list actual spices. This provides trace amounts of carotenoids (crocin) linked to mood enhancement.
Used as a natural digestive aid. Cardamom has been historically used to combat dairy-induced mucous formation, making the whey potentially easier to digest for sensitive users.
TWT offers a comprehensive range focused on distinct user personas. Select your profile from below
